用法较复杂，以下几点需引起注意：
1. 表示“从事”或“正在做”，其后接的名词通常不用冠词。如：

在那一段时间里，我一遇到上英语课就“晕”，并常常与英语老师做对。一次，上课铃声一响，我就趴在桌上，看着，像在睡觉似的。英语老师一来问我，我就装作可怜巴巴的样子，要哭不哭地说：“老师……我……我的书忘……忘带了。”老师慈祥和蔼地说：“下次记着要带哦，这次就和同桌一起看吧！”说完，轻轻地摸摸我的头。我羞愧了，老师这么信任我，我还……我心里暗暗下决心：一定要好好学英语，不辜负老师的一片心意。
