今天终于体会到在高级公司工作的辛苦和难处。
一早到办公室，就看见桌上躺着整整齐齐的一叠文件——朱先生昨天留给我的改版网站文字。早就准备好的我便开始动工了。一上手我便开始有些吃惊，看起来再简单不过的措辞却极难正确翻译，要想把中英文都表达得地道，绝非一件易事。我干了整整一天，整个人埋在电脑前的纸堆里，一字一句的对应斟酌，那些专有名词还好点，毕竟只有专门的一种翻译，难就难在表达方法，越简单越不容易翻得地道。其间，周小姐让我帮她填业务单，大概是我公司进口需要汇款给卖方。我从来没有接触过这样的业务，心里有点怵。周小姐给了我一份模版，并简单交待了几句就走了。我凭着自己的英文功底和贸易常识，再加上虚心好问，很快便摸清了情况。在第一份签好了朱先生的大名的单据完成时，我心中异常兴奋。电视剧里那种小白领拿着文件敲门进来轻轻说一句“经理，请签字”的情节又一次浮现在我眼前，回想自己的表现，除了稍显拘束，还是挺好的。
下午又接着做了几份类似的文件，大部分时间都在忙着网站文字的事。下午五点左右，朱先生把我带进会议室，举行了一次电话会议。如此高级的设备和专业化的工作方式令我折服，同时深感压力。朱先生向别人介绍我时总说我是学外语的，英语方面的问题可以和我商量之类，搞得我担子很重。我这才深深地感到自己的专业水平还远远不够，别说应付专业化的商务活动，就连日常的许多细节我还需要反复查字典，很多拿不准，搞不懂的地方。所以说学习是一辈子的事，这话没错。
踏着落日的余辉我走出交易广场。走在拥挤的地铁通道里，看着来往的人群，我忽然有种都市夜归人的寂寞感。一种悲天悯人，感叹命运的情感阵阵袭来。自己将来会不会真的成为这世界万千苦人中的一员，长年为面包奔命呢？这样的苦累酸涩生活是不是才是真正的生活的滋味呢？

After morning’s class, we couldn’t help rushing to the cafeteria. It always brought us coolness. The food was so-so, but the home-cooking is much delicious. When we almost finished eating, I suddenly saw a familiar face——our foreign teacher Nick. A girl was sitting beside him. They were talking over lunch. I at once told my friends Sandy and Jenny about it. We were so excited. I slowed my speed of eating to wait for that girl. At the moment, they finished their lunch and walked by us with the smile on their faces. Nick seemed so different from how he looked in the class. I guess that is the power of love. Hope they will enjoy everyday when they get together. So romantic!

端午节(The Dragon Boat Festival)

The Dragon Boat Festival, also called Double Fifth Festival, is celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth moon of the lunar calendar. It is one of the most important Chinese festivals, the other two being the Autumn Moon Festival and Chinese New Year.
The origin of this summer festival centers around a scholarly government official named Chu Yuan. He was a good and respected man, but because of the misdeeds of jealous rivals he eventually fell into disfav or in the emperors court.
Unable to regain the respect of the emperor, in his sorrow Chu Yuan threw himself into the Mi Low river. Because of their admiration for Chu Yuan, the local people living adjacent to the Mi Lo River rushed into their boats to search for him while throwing rice into the waters to appease the river dragons.
Although they were unable to find Chu Yuan, their efforts are still commemorated today during the Dragon Boat Festival.

----近乎前，还是我初次访问韩国的时候。说实话，在飞机起飞前，我还没觉得该学韩国语。但不难
----事实上一点没趣儿。在餐厅不能点菜；去商店也看不懂商标上的谜语，解决几顿饭也成了我的大事。不管乘公共汽车还是出租车，总是稀里糊涂，迷路的事儿也时有发生。
----更令我糊涂的是，同僚或偶然遇到的其他外国人中，没有懂生活必需的简单韩国语的人。大部分外国人学到“这个多少钱?”或“给我啤酒”之后就不学了。其理由是，（有点失礼）韩国人不期待外国人学韩国语。
----依我看也有点可笑。如果住在外国，就该竭力学习那国家的语言，最少也该努力了解有关知识。难道不该有点一下飞机就攻读英语的北美地区移民者的努力吗？我的朋友逃避学韩国语，是真的因为困难，还是因为在韩国生活没必要学韩国语呢？这引起了我的好奇。

----他不相信我能学韩国语，这更引起了我学习的欲望。但在一点上他的话是对的。学习韩国语有该越过的高墙。妨碍学习的因素尤其是社会性的因素是非常大的问题，要求有很强的忍耐和磨练及勇气。说实话，韩国人不期待外国人学自己的语言，很多时候不理解外国人为什么要学韩国语。

----另外这种投资还有省力的效果。我每月付给家庭教师10万元，一周上两三次课。来教我的女老师真了不起，非常残酷(有关教授法将在以后介绍)，使我不得不付出必要的努力。并不只是单纯的师弟关系。我的韩国语水平太低，不能理解教授内容，为此她不得不攻读英语。
----我在学校学习韩国语最多的经验就是在汉城西江大学的学习。之后在高丽大学学了大量的语法，在历史悠久的延世大学听了几次课，但在西江大学的学习至今仍记忆犹新。不但老师好，而且授课也以“讨论的方式”进行，促使学生能够多发言，这是学习的最好方法。
----学习韩国语，我的最好助手就是Francis Y.T. Park写的“Speaking Korean”的书。Francis Y.T. Park牧师是语言学家，经过与研究院多年的研究，同时出版了共4册的系列书籍。前两册要务必阅读，深度熟知其内容，对韩国语学习有极大的帮助。
